PERRLA Add-in Requirements

The PERRLA for Word Add-in requires the following:

• Microsoft Word 2016 or newer (Windows or Mac) or Word for Web
• An active internet connection

Older versions of Microsoft Word do not have the built-in functionality needed by the PERRLA for Word Add-in. Users with older versions will need to update to Word 2016 or newer, or they can use PERRLA Online or the PERRLA Add-in with Word for Web.

Word for Web is the version of Word you access in a web browser. APA 7 and MLA 9 papers are currently supported in Word for Web. Turabian support is coming.
