After you've created your paper, you can edit the title page information at any time using the Title Page panel in the PERRLA ribbon.
APA and Turabian papers
APA has different requirements for Student Research Papers and Professional Research Papers, but the process for editing the title page is the same for both.
- Go to the PERRLA ribbon tab.
- Click Title Page.
-
Make your changes in the fields provided.
You can also add information that wasn't included when you created the paper. - Click Update Title Page.
Your title page will be automatically updated to reflect your changes.
MLA papers
MLA papers don't have a separate title page or a Running Head. However, you'll still use the Title Page panel to edit the paper's title information.
Discussion Posts
The Title Page panel for Discussion Posts only includes a field for the title, since Discussion Posts don't have separate title page information.
Manually editing your title page
The title page is locked by default to protect the formatting of your APA, MLA, or Turabian paper. However, if your professor requires non-standard formatting, you can customize it.
