An abstract is meant to provide a succinct description of your paper in a single paragraph of between 150 and 250 words. It is often followed by a keywords section.
How to add an Abstract
PERRLA can help you add an abstract to your paper in just a few quick steps.
- Go to the PERRLA ribbon tab
- Click Abstract
PERRLA will open the Abstract panel inside Microsoft Word. - Click Add an Abstract in the panel
PERRLA will add an Abstract page as the second page of your paper, along with a prompt where you can type your abstract. It also includes some default Keywords.
If you click Add an Abstract after an abstract has been added to your paper, it will take you to the abstract that’s already been created.
