Installing and Setting Up the PERRLA Browser Extension for Google Chrome

Installation

To install PERRLA's new Google Chrome web browser extension, please follow the instructions below.

1. Inside the Google Chrome web browser, click this link:
   https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/perrla/ohnegglbceldemfpmmdfjmpmdgcgeffc?hl=en-US 
2. Click the Add to Chrome button. 
3. In the pop-up window, click Add Extension. 

If the link above doesn't work, you can navigate to the PERRLA Chrome Extension manually following these steps.

1. Open your Google Chrome web browser. 
2. Go to the Chrome Web Store at chrome.google.com/webstore. 
3. Click Extensions in the left menu. 
4. In the Search text box, type "PERRLA." 
5. In the results, choose PERRLA. 
6. Click the Add to Chrome button. 
7. In the pop-up window, click Add Extension. 

The PERRLA extension will now be installed in your Google Chrome web browser.

Pinning the PERRLA Extension to your Toolbar

To access the PERRLA extension once you have installed it, click the Extensions button in the Chrome toolbar, located in the upper-right corner of the browser window. Or, you can also go a step further and "pin" the PERRLA extension itself to Chrome's toolbar. To do so, please follow these instructions.

1. Click the Extensions icon button in Chrome's toolbar. 
2. In the Extensions dropdown menu, click the Thumbtack icon next to PERRLA. 

That's it! PERRLA's icon will now appear in Chrome's toolbar.

Logging In

Lastly, you will need to log into your PERRLA account within the extension.

1. Click the PERRLA icon in Chrome's toolbar or within the Extensions dropdown menu. 
2. Provide the email address and password that is associated with your PERRLA account. 
3. Click the Log In button. 

You'll now be logged into your PERRLA account within the browser extension. You'll have access to all the references that you've created with PERRLA in the past, and you'll have the ability to create brand new references without ever leaving your browser. Pretty awesome, huh?
