Installing PERRLA in Google Docs

PERRLA is available as an add-on for Google Docs through the Google Workspace Marketplace. Follow these steps to install it.

1. Open a blank Google Doc. 
2. Click Extensions in the menu bar. 
3. Choose Add-ons, then click Get Add-ons.
   This opens the Google Workspace Marketplace.
4. Search for PERRLA. 
5. Click Install on the PERRLA result. 
6. Click Continue on the Google sign-in screen.
   If you are not already signed in to Google, sign in first.
7. Check Select All on the permissions screen, then click Continue.
   This screen asks for permission to access your Google account.
8. Click Done. 

PERRLA is now installed.

To use it, click Extensions in the menu bar, then click PERRLA. A panel opens on the right side of the document with a sign-in screen. Log in with your PERRLA account, or start a free trial to create one. Once you are logged in, the panel takes you to the Create Document screen, where you can start a new paper.
