When you install the PERRLA for Word add-in, it will remain in your Word ribbon. So, when you close Word, then reopen it, the PERRLA tab will automatically be available.
However, there have been instances where the PERRLA tab stops showing up in Word. If this happens, don't panic. You simply need to remove the PERRLA for Word add-in and re-add it.
To do this:
- Go to Word's Insert tab.
- Go to My Add-ins.
(Note: If your screen is smaller, you may need to click "Add-ins" before you see "My Add-ins" from the dropdown menu.)
- Hover over PERRLA and click the three dots that come up to the right.
- Choose Remove from the dropdown menu.
- Click the Remove button to confirm.
- Click the Office Store button.
- Search for PERRLA.
- Click Add.
That's it! PERRLA should once again appear in your Word ribbon.
