Unable to Paste in Text Fields when Creating a Reference (Add-in)

Occasionally, you may not be able to right-click and paste text into a field while creating a reference. PERRLA isn't blocking this intentionally – if you're unable to right-click and paste, another factor is likely the cause, such as a setting in Word or your browser.

This is usually an easy fix. Save your work, then reboot your computer. More often than not, this resolves the issue.

If you're still unable to right-click and paste, you can use keyboard shortcuts instead:

To copy text:

Windows: Ctrl + C

Mac: Cmd + C (Command key)

To paste text:

Windows: Ctrl + V

Mac: Cmd + V

You may find keyboard shortcuts to be your preferred method of copying and pasting going forward.
