How Spell Check works
Papers created after July 28, 2026
Spell Check runs entirely in your browser – your writing is never sent to a third-party service to be checked. Misspelled words are underlined in red. Right-click an underlined word to see suggested corrections, ignore it, or add it to your dictionary.
Note: Words you added to your dictionary before July 28, 2026 will not carry over. You'll need to add them again if Spell Check flags them.

Using Grammarly with PERRLA Online
The Grammarly plug-in works with all PERRLA Online paper types. If you use both PERRLA Spellcheck and Grammarly at the same time, you can turn PERRLA's checker off from the Edit menu so the two don't conflict. See Using Grammarly with PERRLA (Online).
