If you've already created a reference in the proper format outside of PERRLA, you can still add it to your Reference Page.
How to insert a manually created Reference
- Create a new paragraph space where you need your new Reference to appear.
You may need to press the left or right arrow keys to move the cursor outside of the Reference’s Content Control box so you can create the new paragraph. You can learn more about Content Controls here. - Press Return or Enter on your keyboard.
- Type or paste your reference into your Reference Page.
Even if the reference takes up more than one line of text, PERRLA will automatically ensure the hanging indent is in place on any subsequent lines.
After you've added a manual reference, PERRLA will make sure any additional references you add using PERRLA will be inserted at the correct place (but we can't be responsible if you don't place your manual reference in the proper alphabetical order on your Reference Page).
