Finding the version of PERRLA for Word you are using is easy.
All you have to do is launch the software (usually by double-clicking the desktop PERRLA icon).
When the software starts up, it will display the version number on the loading pop-up. It should look like the image below:
If you are running an older version prior to 7.7.5, you need to update your software.
To determine which version of PERRLA for Word Mac desktop software you are running:
- Open PERRLA for Word
- Click PERRLA in the very top-left of the screen
This is in the top menubar beside the Apple icon. If you don't see it, click the PERRLA window and it should appear.
- Click About PERRLA
You'll see a pop-up window that shows the version of PERRLA you're using in blue text. Here's what it will look like:
If you are running a version that does NOT start with 1, you need to update your software.
PERRLA Online doesn't have versions numbers since it can't be downloaded. Whenever you visit www.perrlaonline.com, you are automatically using the latest version :)
