If you are having trouble with your Reference Page in PERRLA for Word on Mac, it can sometimes be helpful to refresh the Reference page with "clean" versions of your paper's References.
You should know that if you've manually edited or added text (like annotations), it will be erased. So be sure to copy and paste it somewhere safe first if you need it.
PERRLA can do that for you. Once you have your paper & PERRLA open, here's what you do:
- Click on PERRLA for Word in your dock
This is to make sure PERRLA is the active application. It should say PERRLA in the top-left corner of your screen beside the Apple icon.
- Click References
- Click Refresh Reference Page
PERRLA will automatically rebuild your Reference page for you. If you had custom text you had entered into the Reference page, we suggest adding it back at the very end of your writing process.
