Just so you know, there's no harm in leaving un-used References in your PERRLA Library. They won't hurt anyone and can live peaceful full lives.
However, if you really want a Reference to "sleep with the fishes," then you can permanently delete the Reference in the References module.
Few things to know about deleting References:
- If the Reference is used in any papers, it will be removed from those papers along with any of its Citations.
- You can't recover it once it's deleted. You'll have to re-create it from scratch. If you re-create it, it won't be connected to any previous Citations (since it's a new, albeit identical, Reference).
Still want to delete it? Here's how:
- Click References in the side menu
- Select the Reference you want to delete
- Click Delete Reference
- Click Delete
Poof! It's gone forever, just like the magic in the summer of 1969.
