What is the new PERRLA Subscription?
As of January 1, 2018, the PERRLA products have been simplified into a single subscription. Instead of selling three products (PERRLA for Word, PERRLA Online, & PERRLA Complete), you now purchase PERRLA for a 12-month subscription for $49.95. You renew both products at the same time - they are not renewed separately.
Subscribing to PERRLA gives you access to both PERRLA for Word and PERRLA Online. This also includes access to Customer Support and any updates offered during your subscription.
At the end of your subscription, your PERRLA software will stop working. The papers you created with PERRLA for Word or have downloaded from PERRLA Online will work as normal Word documents forever. You don't need an active PERRLA subscription to work with them. However, the PERRLA software will no longer work with them.
What if I bought PERRLA before Jan. 1, 2018?
If you purchased PERRLA between Oct. 1, 2011 – Dec. 31, 2017:
You have been upgraded to the PERRLA subscription based on your existing expiration date.
PERRLA for Word will work indefinitely without renewing, but the customer support and software updates will stop once your subscription expires. PERRLA Online still only works with an active subscription.
You will always receive a discount on the annual renewal of PERRLA (only $29.95).
If you purchased PERRLA before Oct. 1, 2011:
You do not have to renew your subscription in order to use the software or receive Customer Support.
How can I manage my subscription?
You can manage your PERRLA subscription and account by logging into www.perrla.com.
There, you can see your current expiration date, renew your account, update your profile information, or edit your existing subscription.
If I don't renew, will my PERRLA still work?
It depends on the product you are using and the date you originally purchased PERRLA.
PERRLA Online (our web-application) has always stopped working when your subscription expires.
If you purchased PERRLA before Jan. 1, 2018, then PERRLA for Word will work indefinitely (without updates or support past the expiration date). If you purchased before Oct. 1, 2018, you will receive updates and support for PERRLA for Word indefinitely. (See the second question for more information)
How do I renew?
Go to www.perrla.com and log into your account by clicking Login in the top-right corner. You’ll be shown your subscription plan and can manage your subscription from there.
When is Customer Support available?
Our Support Team is located in the United States and we answer support requests from 10 am – 10 pm central time, 7 days per week.
You can contact them by emailing them at firstname.lastname@example.org. PERRLA Support works via email and does not have a phone number to call.
