Downloading PERRLA for Word (Windows)
- Go to www.perrla.com
- Click Login in the top right corner of the screen
- Log in using your PERRLA Account information
- Click Download PERRLA for Word at the top-left of your screen to start the download.
Installing PERRLA for Word (Windows)
You may be prompted to Open or Run PERRLA's download file once it's finished. Click Open or Run to start the installation.
If your only option was to Save File, then save the file to your computer. Once the file is downloaded, locate the file and double-click downloaded file to launch the program to begin the installation.
Follow the instructions to complete the installation. By default, PERRLA's installer will create a desktop shortcut for PERRLA on your computer (it's a yellow pencil).
Double-click the PERRLA icon on your desktop to get started.
Activating PERRLA for Word
The first time you use PERRLA for Word, you need to activate your software. PERRLA for Word will provide you with instructions on how to activate.
If you've purchased a PERRLA subscription already, click I Have Already Purchased PERRLA. Be sure you enter the same account information you used to purchase PERRLA.
If you are starting a Free Trial, click I Want To Start My Free Trial.
You'll need to enter your PERRLA account email address and password, and you'll create a nickname of your choice for your computer. Be sure to create different nicknames for each computer (up to 3) on which you have PERRLA installed.
Now you're ready to start writing perfectly formatted APA and MLA papers!
