PERRLA for Word (Windows) doesn't have a built-in feature for adding Appendices to your APA Research Papers. However, you can manually add an Appendix to your paper by entering a page break following your Reference page.
1. Make sure you have at least one Reference in your paper (so the Reference page has been built by PERRLA). If you don't have any References in your paper, then PERRLA won't have created a Reference section for you yet.
2. Go to the very end of your paper. You can do this on a PC by pressing Cmd + Fn + right-arrow at the same time on your keyboard.
3. Add a page break. In the Word menu at the very top of your screen, click Insert > Break > Page Break.
This new page is where you can add your Appendix. Your Appendix will stay at the end of your paper even if you add new References.
Once in your Appendix, you can continue to use any of the PERRLA functions that you would normally use in the body of your paper.
