Since PERRLA for Word (Windows) version 7.5 – previously called PERRLA for APA or PERRLA for MLA – you can sync your References to the PERRLA cloud.
This means we keep a backup of your References in the cloud so they're never lost (unlike some computers) and that you can sync them between multiple computers.
If you are using PERRLA for Word and PERRLA Online (both included in your PERRLA subscription), then all of your References will sync between the two as well.
If you are using an older version of PERRLA for APA/MLA – not PERRLA for Word – you may need to manually turn on the Reference syncing in the PERRLA application Settings tab. Make sure the checkbox for Sync My References is set to Yes.
Once you select Yes, you will need to restart the PERRLA application to sync your References for the first time. If you have a lot of References, this may take a few minutes (probably seconds).
